Blackberry rubus ursinus
Blackberry is rich in deep purple anthocyanidins, which are powerful antioxidants for quenching free radicals, supporting new cell growth, and reducing inflammation. One of these found in very high levels in blackberry is Cyanidin-3-O-glucoside, which can help decrease CD38, restore NAD+, and increase activation of both Sirtuin 1 and Sirtuin 6. Studies have shown that cyanidins can prolong cellular life span in young-, middle-, and old-aged cells.
